Ghoul aren't even on Razorback anymore and haven't been in years. Doesn't matter, I thought they sucked. and Blood Freak disappeared once Billy realized that the whole Horror-Thrash/Grind hybrid lost it's novelty. Fuck that nancy boy label!

I haven't bought shit from Razorback in years. Wasn't out of anything personal, I just didn't like their bands.

archagathus / embalming theatre 7" on tgpc is a good find i didnt buy it off tgpc though i bought it at extreme noise records in minneapolis

yeah ive heard alot about him and even have asked some bands why they do releases with them and they mainly said "you wouldnt let someone release a record for you" which is understandable

Embalming Theatre. Only mentioned once in this whole discussion. Don't know why they went with Razorback for Sweet Chainsaw Melodies but All Their Shit Fucking Slays and they are very under-rated. Even though SCM was released on Razorback Embalming Theatre is and always will be one of my favorite bands. Embalming Theatre, Cripple Bastards, and Agathocles are the best in Grind and always will be!

I'm putting out an Embalming Theater/Methadone Abortion Clinic split cd at the beginning of the year. I would hope that Greek Fire will want to do a trade when it's released.

Razorback Records is just a place who has a hard on for a boar and calls it the "Gore Boar" or something and then is now a Horror Hive... I dont know...

I dont know much of the label, but only I use to buy CD's there 5 years ago until I realized I could get cheaper CD's somewhere else. I can agree though, they are kind of like a Relapse Records clone.

First of all I like some bands from razorback but the owner is a bi-polar loser who always ends up fighting with the bands, and that's the main reason they leave.... the label used to be a lot better,

Jill hasn't been involved with the label for a couple years now,
Birdflesh had some decent albums
C.U.M. albums were good
I liked the Lord Gore albums
Ghoul hasn't been on the label in years, billy turned on them
Hooded Menace is no longer with the label, billy and wayne turned on Lasse
Blood Freak will probably never have another release on RR, not because billy is jumping trends, but because Maniac Neil found out that billy was talkin shit about him.... so he probably won't be doing much with RR anymore, which means there probably won't be anymore frightmare either
Billy had a falling out with slasher dave so Acid Witch is no longer with them, and the Horrific album was always meant to just be a cheesy fun album
GSR did a couple albums with RR but then moved on to better things...
Coffins, Funerot, Fuck...I'm Dead, Gigantic Brain only did the 1 album with them
Blizarro just sucks, I'm not into it at all
Decrepitaph could have been better, especially if they didn't release 10 different albums in a month, should've taken more time to work on the quality not the quantity..
Wooden stake is just terrible
The Cianide and Impetigo re-releases were good shit

Razorback used to be a Goregrind, gore obsessed horror label, but now they seem to be looking more like a weak black metal label
The main problem is that he doesn't really have any actual bands left on the label because he fights and turns on them all... so he just gets his new wife and wayne to work with some random people and churn out a bunch of different metiocre shitty bands... the main thing is that you can't take it out on the people in the bands because they are associated with Billy and RR... lots of people know he's a douche but somehow he still finds people to work with him.
