sometimes i get a little tired of pussies whining about downloads.

in case you haven´t fucking noticed, sometimes it nearly impossible for some bands to fund any type of physical releases. and some, like myself, don´t want to spend money that we don´t have to send copies for free or what have you. AND some, like myself, don´t want OTHERS to spend money on stupid crap. if people want my noise they can have it for FREE. I MAKE NOISE NOT A PRODUCT.

and yes people, there has been a little invention called THE COMPUTER CD BURNER and it works quite well, or so i am told. if you want a "physical" copy you can very goddamn well make one yourself. i wish people would stop trying to be so grind-elitist because it just comes off as being a retard. i would think a true grind freak would take the musick anyway possible. but i guess thats not the case..

sorry. i went a little off the handle. but its how i feel about free downloads. if its the only way a release is made or available, then so be it. i´m all down for it. also by keeping my stuff for free, it has introduced my noises to a much much broader audience. which is always a good thing right?? i tried making copies for sale way back in the past. NO ONE asked to buy one. so i ended up spending money to make copies that i ended up giving away for free in the end. i SPENT more money than i ever made back. now is that good economics? no sir.

i "get" that downloads is, in some ways, past the whole way that things were done when this type of music first started; word of mouth and tape trading. but technology has changed, and some bands have taken advantage of that. and you can just as easily, if not more easy, trade downloads than the ol snail mail. sure, you don´t always get the full effect of having the art and ect..but in the end, its the music that counts right?

I have to have a physical copy of anything i release online. i think a lot of noise has backslid into a state of passive participation. one could feasibly make a sequence of noises and "release the album" online as a zip file in a matter of minutes, hours. no craft required, no dedication implied.

i agree though with the fact that online availability has the potential to reach people who wouldnt buy copies of a cd. thats why i went ahead and put the GFx ep online, someone is going to request it be made available or put it up eventually themselves.

i know the people who ask for a physical copy are the ones that i want listening to our music anyway.

And another thing that kind of pisses me off about bands and shit they have 4 people in the band they want there cd out so bad yet they dont wanna put any money into it.. and it doesn't cost that much so for me that just seems like a fucking cop out . yeh i wanna press your cd so nobody will buy it.. na fuck that..
If your that INTO or your that True your gonna spend some cash and out of four people or whatever its not even that much money what like 30 bucks a piece or 25 or something.. I have to give it up to UNMEN and Lt.Dan they are some cool ass fucks man. they paid for some of the shirts and Tapes we did for them so in my book thats a big one up for those dudes. but hell thats just my opinion what do i know im just a dum ass fucking Greek lol

Free downloads are always cool, but the truth about it is, if you buy a copy of a release compared to just downloading it you will appreciate the band and music more, for some reason... Just knowing the fact that you spend money on it will make you listen to it more often than the release you just downloaded... and you get a cool physical copy to show off but then again I know how it is to be broke as hell and not being able to purchase your copys... and that always blows... so its hard to say whats better.....
