Everybody knows that the UK was home to a lot of early grindcore bands. I even remember some more recently, like Shank. Are there ANY active young punk bands out of England, Scotland, or Ireland now? I hear of black metal bands occasionally, and there's always kids making poop on their macbooks, but I am hard pressed to find any solid bands that are networking or doing anything worth mentioning in those areas. Every time I look I come up with either silly metalcore bands, or higher-profile, older bands like Gurkha. do any of you even have contacts in the UK? Seems like those fools really let their scenes waste.

yeah but as far as i know they arent dealing in UK bands.

yeh your right i talk to a lot of people from england.. tampoon tit wank grindfather and some other bands and labels... as far as the punx / crust scene the were the best as far as grind or giore or anything like that england has been lacking on a lot of shit for real.. theres not that many bands as it should be. i talked to a few people and they said there is really not a scene for it.. witch sucks !

There's a good number of grind bands in the UK doing the rounds, most notably:

Bonesaw
Ablach
Gout (London)
Vortilich
Merciless Terror

as well as this, there's a whole legion of Crust bands who are excellent like Extinction of Mankind.
