| Yeah, show me what bands who does not play grind/noise/death/whatever, that you listen to. Me self, I am a huge fan of theese bands (In order: The small faces, the rolling stones, the who, the smiths) I dig alot of 60's pop/rock music and alot of brittish pop music and etc. The ol' drug abusing guys, way much cooler then the modern fag ass musicans. | |

| well Black metal is included in what I mean.. i should have written it as "extreme music".. so lets take it again for the upcoming writers in this thread: What kind of non-extreme music do you listen to? | |

| I love psychedelic and proto-metal music from the 60s and 70s. I'd say it makes up the bulk of what I listen to nowadays. Some of my favorites are Amon Duul II, Comus, Iron Claw, and German Oak.
Also I have a soft spot for 90's noise rock. My favorite band of all time is Helmet. Pretty much any old trance syndicate or amrep bands.... unsane, hammerhead, cherubs, dirt, mutter, etc. | |

| My tastes range, hahaha. Roy Orbison, CCR, Simon & Garfunkel, Lou Reed, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Iron Butterfly, Velvet Underground, Eazy-E, Public Enemy, NWA, Soundgarden, etc. I'll listen to anything really as long as it's not country or pop. | |

| Good idea for a thread. I listen to all kinds of shit, but my main influences out side of grind are: T MODEL FORD (and everything else on Fat Possum Records) The blues guys were the first for everything!BOOTSY COLLINS (Check out a project he had called "Zillitron" - so fuckin far ahead of his time) You can't feel the groove if you gotta force the funk!BORGORE (Dub step -- he is also a drummer for the death metal band Shabira) There are better dub step guys, but he is pretty fuckin funny, and he raps. I learned a lot about drum programing and production listening to guys like this!!!! | |
