| Whats you're favorite death/thrash album? Here is mine. After this album they went all Death Metal and I lost interest. But this album is total death/thrash crossover perfection. | |

| Ok you might have lost interest but I can't turn that switch off. I love thrash and I love death... thrash/death metal... genius. I need more. I'm listen to (Malevolent Creations - The Ten Commandments now). I'm one of though people that dismisses music before I give it a few spins so I've passed allot of bands but I'm going back over loads of music that am now kicking myself I didn't just listen. ok hers a few albums that have changed my mind on how people listen to music or the lack of listening and thinking that they know. Hellwitch - 1990 - "Syzygial Miscreancy" wow what an album, fast, heavy and total unlike anything else I've heard. the guitar work in jaw dropping. the vocals are mental, evil and eccentric. takes Tampa death metal sound and strips it down to its rawest form. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kjEjrCs-P8Pestilence - 1989 - "Consuming Impulse" another band I dismissesed the 1st time I heard them... oh how I was wrong. they have a few good albums but this one takes the old school death/thrash and prefects the crossover. it's a change from the whole death metal for death metal sake, its smart and even now a breath of fresh air. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9tdqYmaLOkNum Skull - 1991 - Future - Our Terror... I think I might be the only person who's even heard of this album... not true ofcourse but I've never met any "metalfan" who's even heard of the band. num skull are legends in the underground thrash scene in the later part of the 80s. this album never got an official release but I think if it had you wouldn't need me. (not of this album but u can do some of the work) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihyXosHm6s8also Sepultura - 1989 - Beneath The Remains (speaks for its self) Dark Angel - 1988 - Leave Scars (thrash but death metal fans wont feel like they have been tricked) | |
